Cardboard Production

The production activity of the mill started from the moment of setting into operation of cardboard production in 1982. The main product of PSC "Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill" is cardboard; on its production the mill takes the leading place in Ukraine.

The mill is the only enterprise in Ukraine, which produces box boards with coating from waste paper for manufacturing of consumer packaging with colour offset printing.

Two Escher Wyss cylinder board-making machines produce the board, each with the working width 4.2 m and operating capacity 100 thousand tons per year. Board coating is being provided by the Jagenberg's coating machine.

Available equipment gives the possibility to produce top-quality cardboard for consumer packaging of different brands with a grammage 200 - 440 gsm, containerboard and corrugating paper with a grammage 112 - 200 gsm.

Cardboard is produced in reels, bobbins and sheets. The main raw material used for board production is waste paper; its content in the board makes 80 - 100%. The maximal waste paper usage is of great ecological importance. Every day the production processes up to 600 of waste paper.

• Recycled chrome-ersatz - coated and uncoated.
• Chipboard - coated and uncoated.
• Recycled containerboard (cardboard for flat layers of corrugated board).
• Corrugating paper.
