Paper production

Paper production set into operation in 1987, is specialized on toilet paper and tissue paper production. Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill is the leader among producers of toilet paper in Ukraine.

Two tissue-making machines from "VOITH" (Austria) are installed at the Plant. Machines have a total capacity up to 60 thousands tons of tissue per year.

Tissue Plant includes tissue making department and tissue converting department. Tissue making department plant produces recycled and pulp tissue that can be colored with different colors. The slitting machine from "Celli" (Italy) allows duplicating paper in two, three layers.

The tissue converting department carries out the cutting of tissue paper into toilet paper rolls 90mm width. The cutting and packing of the rolls is carried out on 5 automated lines of the "Sumitomo" (Japan), with the total capacity of 260 millions rolls per year. Equipment for sheet and roll towels production is installed at the same department.

In September 2009 the new converting line for recycled and cellulose tissue production from company GAMBINI was set into operation. That is new fully automatic line for production and packaging tissue goods, including toilet paper rolls and kitchen towels. This is the first line of such level in Ukraine and allows producing nearly 210 rolls of goods per minute.

On the separate part of the department is carried out the converting of one-layer and multi-layer tissue paper and production of the wide range of napkins.

• Tissue paper (from 100% bleached pulp).
• Toilet tissue from recycled tissue (from 100% waste paper).
• Tissue for towels (wet-strength).
• Recycled toilet tissue rolls from the waste paper (with/without core, with/without perforation, with/without embossing).
• Tissue paper rolls from pulp (with core, with perforation, with embossing).
• Tissue towels from pulp. In rolls (with core) with embossing and perfotarion.
• Sheet towels from pulp, dimension 330x250mm.
• Tissue towels from waste paper, in sheets, dimension 230x250mm, 330x250mm.
• Napkins, from 100% pulp white and coloured, packed by 50 and 100 pieces. Dimension 250x250, 330x330, 240x250 mm. One- and two-layers.
