Quality system

In conditions of contemporary market the Mill cannot hold its leading positions without a modern management system. With the purpose of maximal satisfaction of consumers' requirements, increase of competitiveness of production and improvement of the Mill's image, in February 2004 a management of the Mill took the decision to introduce system of quality management (SQM), based on requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2000.

Applying a principle of the process approach, the Mill has passed to essentially new way of operation of business. That allowed distributing precisely the responsibility and authorities between managers and executors, to adjust optimal horizontal links. All the decisions accepted during development SQM have been fixed documentary, therefore a coordinated system of the internal rules appeared at the Mill, allowing organizing and performing works with optimum expenses of time and material resources.

In March, 2005 the Certificate of Conformity SQM of the Mill to requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2000, given out by the international certification body TUV NORD, has been received.

Introduced SQM has allowed enhancing the responsibility and interest of all workers, to focus activity of the Mill on final result - quality of the production.

Strategy of the Mill in the field of quality is preservation of leading positions on the domestic and foreign markets due to the maximal satisfaction of requirements and prediction of expectations of the consumer.

The second stage of development SQM was the decision of management of the Mill in November, 2006 to begin work on development and introduction of system of ecological management according to requirements of international standard ISO 14001:2004 and its integration with operating SQM.

During work the Policy in the field of quality and ecology was developed, purposes and problems in the field of preservation of the environment were defined, ecological aspects and the operations connected with them were identified. Rules on handling of all kinds of waste were established, and the register of actual legislative and other requirements conformably to the Mill was made.

From February, 26 till February, 29th, 2008 recertified audit SQM according to requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2000 and certified audit of a control system by an environment according to requirements of international standard ISO 14001:2004 was held at the Mill. Audit was conducted by leading experts of the international certification body TUV NORD. Work on maintenance and development of system of a quality management, creation of environment control system was estimated positively by independent auditors. In March, 2008 the Mill has received the corresponding Certificates.

At the end of February 2009 the specialists of TUV Rheinland conducted the first supervision audit of integrated quality and environmental control system for the conformity with requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2008/ISO 14001:2004 and the corresponding Certificate was received.
