Our approaches to sustainable development
According to the policy of quality and environmental control, all our production processes are managed considering environmental aspects. Following this strategy, we are working according to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards, FSSC 22000.
Every year, we develop and implement a target program of environmental activities in the following areas: water protection, air protection, and waste management.
Also we carried out work on the implementation of health and safety management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 and the energy management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 50001:2018.
PJSC “Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill” supports the policy of companies producing products made from legally harvested timber based on the principles of responsible forest management. The guaranty for these principles is voluntary international certification through the Forest Stewardship Council® (Forest Stewardship Council).
In 2016 PJSC “Kyiv CPM” successfully passed certification audit to verify compliance with the implemented tracking wood products supply chain from manufacturer to consumer, and received a certificate of compliance with the standard FSC-STD-40-004 Standard Certification supply chain.
The availability of the FSC certificate improves the public image and prestige of our company, and also enables us to offer our customers a list of FSC certified products, which has a competitive advantage in domestic and international sales markets.
