On August 28, in the city of Vienna, AUSTRIA, the Supervisory Board of the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill approved a decision to increase wages by a higher percentage than planned in the 2023 budget. This step is part of the Austrian shareholders’ strategy to support workers in a difficult period for Ukrainians.
In the approved budget of the plant for the current year, a 10% wage increase was provided for, which was already half implemented in February 2023.
The shareholders of KKPK decided to increase the remuneration for work. Taking into account previous payments, the growth rate will reach 15%, and for certain work specialties – up to 25%.
Thus, increasing the incomes of the plant’s workers from September 2023 becomes another effective measure to motivate and support the plant’s workers. And this, in turn, is of great importance both for business stability and for compliance with the principles of a socially responsible employer.
