History
The decision is made to begin the construction of a corrugated board production workshop in existing areas.
The Mill officially celebrates the 25 anniversary of the beginning of construction and the 20th anniversary since the beginning of operations. The first stage of corrugated board production is completed, producing 100 million m2 per year, and the capacity goal for corrugated boxes is set at 60 million m2 per year.
The production of corrugated cardboard continues to develop: a line of automatic packaging of corrugated products is commissioned, as well as a new high-performance line for producing corrugated containers with rotary die cutting. A ZUEND L-300 plotter is purchased and installed for the production of cardboard packaging samples.
An automated line for packaging napkins in plastic wrap goes into operation.
Factory receives the certificate of conformity to the quality management system requirements of ISO 9001: 2000.
The reconstruction of the department of mass preparation of boxboard is completed.
The second stage of corrugated board production begins. The capacity of the new corrugator increases the existing capacity for the production of corrugated board up to 300 million m2 per year.
The factory obtains the Certificate of Conformity of Environmental Management System Requirements of ISO 14001:2004. The production of five-layer corrugated board is mastered. The factory wins the competition of the international club of packers WPO “WorldStar2008”. The GAMBINI equipment for converting waste paper into tissue for sanitary purposes is installed. The toilet paper and paper towels produced at the mill are now on par with European quality standards.
