“Support Ukrainian, produce Ukrainian, buy Ukrainian” is the motto under which the Cabinet of Ministers launched “Made in Ukraine” project in spring this year, aimed at encouraging domestic business despite the war. The trademark is used to label goods produced by industrial enterprises located in the country. Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill with its production facilities in Obukhivskyi district is among them.
The government`s “Made in Ukraine” program is crucial for the recovery of the national economy and the maintenance of the state`s vital functions, as almost 40% of sums from the sale of goods produced by Ukrainian manufacturers are returned to the state treasury in the form of fiscal payments and salaries. KCPM is among the country`s leading taxpayers.
As a socially responsible company and market trendsetter, KCPM was one of the first Ukrainian manufacturers to join the initiative of the Ministry of Economy. In the near future, the first batches of hygiene products labeled with the state trademark “Made in Ukraine” will be available on the shelves of retailers.

“Support Ukrainian, produce Ukrainian, buy Ukrainian”.
For the mill, this is a kind of quality mark: to be eligible to use the state trademark, a company has to comply with a number of technical standard requirements.
“We support the initiative of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine on its way to popularize domestic brands. We urge consumers to support our economy and our army by purchasing goods made at Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill,” said the company`s representative.

It should be noted that KCPM is a domestic enterprise with European capital (the shareholder is Pulp Mill Holding, Austria) that produces full-cycle cardboard and paper goods, from the collection and processing of recyclable materials to the production and sale of finished goods. Thanks to the dedication of the entire team, even amid the war and unstable market conditions, the mill produces the goods Ukraine needs.

“We have not slowed down and fulfill all our obligations, both social and regarding the re-equipment of the enterprise. Ukrainian endurance and Austrian responsibility in the face of military and economic upheaval make the mill stronger,” emphasized Iurii Golovchenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KCPM.
