“Easy Box” by Kyiv CPM

All the great things are simple: the boxes from Kyiv CPM are extremely user-friendly.

The Obukhiv mill was the first in Ukraine to develop and launch the unique Easy box solution and its modifications on the e-commerce and postal service market: Wine box for alcoholic beverages and glass bottles and Book-mailer box for books and printed materials.

This is the so-called “quick” packaging with a bottom that unfolds automatically at a single touch, then the box is closed with a clasp coated with permanent adhesive. A tear-off tape is provided for opening the package. The strong fixation of the attachment helps to keep the goods safe during transportation, and an undamaged strip of tear tape confirms that the content of the box is intact. Moreover, there is an option to add another tear tape to the design in case the order is returned to the sender.

Last year, thanks to investments from the Austrian owner, the mill completed the installation of a folding gluing line from Polish company Versor Engineering and purchased a tear-off tape gluing machine of the same brand. Heinz Zinner reported that the total investment amounted to almost one million euros.

This smart packaging not only provides reliable protection for the goods, but also saves time and money for customers of Kyiv CPM.

Thanks to their convenient and safe design, the boxes from Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill do not require the use of additional materials such as tape and film, which not only makes them more environmentally friendly and safe, but also significantly reduces packaging costs. Packaging with permanent sticky glue

Such an innovation meets the needs and demands of not only large retail chains and postal operators operating on a fulfillment basis (such as Maudau, Nova Poshta, Meest Express, Epicenter, Eva, Aurora, etc.), but also smaller sellers.

The representative of Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill emphasizes that for small and medium-sized businesses, cutting costs is an urgent issue in the face of financial instability.

According to Heinz Zinner, despite the difficult times, the Ukrainian market has significant potential for development from the point of view of the Austrian owner. Thus, after the participation of Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill in KyivBookFest 2024, which took place in the city on September 5-8, small and medium-sized book publishers and bookstores made a significant demand for corrugated packaging. To meet this “boom”, Kyiv CPM launched small-scale production of book boxes.
