Today, we had the honor of welcoming David Bachmann, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Austria in Ukraine.
We highly appreciate that one of Mr. Bachmann’s first visits in his new position was dedicated to getting acquainted with the production facilities of the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill. This choice is no coincidence, as our enterprise is part of Austrian Pulp Mill Holding and cooperates closely with the Embassy of Austria in Ukraine.
We are confident that the Embassy`s oversight of European investments is beneficial to our business and contributes to the strengthening of international relations.
Over the past three years, thanks to the comprehensive support of our shareholder, the mill has implemented modernization programs worth EUR 15 million, which has allowed us to modernize our facilities and at the same time strengthen the workplace safety of our employees. Mr. Bachmann was able to see these improvements firsthand and discussed them personally with Timur Sokolov, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KCPM and the Managing Director of Pulp Mill Holding, with Volodymyr Prever, the Honorary Employee of the mill and with our company`s top management.
We are grateful for the attention to our business and look forward to effective long-term cooperation and the successful implementation of future joint projects.
